You're so fancy

Hi there,

Sharing another mixed media project with you today. This one is part of my art journal. I made this during my holiday this summer and i am happy with the result.

I covered the page in white gesso and placed some structure with gel medium and a stencil (suger lump by TCW - on the left) but also with a comb (from Cheeciegirls mixed media box - see the right side).

I painted with some blue and white and rubbed the green on with my fingers. I use Senneliers acrylic paint (love the colours).

I drew a sea horse in pencil first, when i was happy with that i defined it with Sakura fineliners. For the doodling in my sea horse i used the Sakura fineliners but also my  trusty Posca's (Black, white, silver and gold). All the doodles are with these pens.

I found a vellum quote book at a local store and found this quote 'you're so fancy'. I cut it and glued it. You have to weigh it down while it dries or it will curl up :). I also coloured the quote with my Posca's.
